Counsel to LaSalle Investment Management and performance of environmental site assessment studies, in order to determine the presence of contaminated sites, after which we obtained the Federal authorization for the site remediation program.

Representing the consortium formed by Korea Electric Power Corporation, Samsung C&T Corporation and Techint in an international public bid and the execution of a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement with the Federal Electricity Commission, for the construction and operation of the Norte II 433 MW CCGT power plant in Chihuahua, México.
Represented Banorte and a syndicate of Mexican banks in the MXP$850 million senior financing facility granted to Renova Atlatec (a Mexican joint venture of Mitsui and ICA), for the construction, operation and management of the PPSAgua Prieta Water Treatment Plant Project in the State of Jalisco. This project represented the second largest water treatment project in Mexico.

Our participation involved the design of the legal structure and financing for such projects, as well as the development of the bidding guidelines and the preparation of a wide range of contracts to implement the development.
