Analysis was directed towards evaluation of the quality of Vital Registration data, improvement of quality of birth and infant death registration (Birth and infant death certificates) in Belgium and study of perinatal (maternal and infant) risk factors. The project also included the study of the Impact of Neonatal Intensive Care on fetal and infant deaths to help implementing Health Policy for Perinatal Care in Belgium.
