Chemical Nature Comprises a liquid component of polyester resin (with characteristic sweet aromatic odour of styrene monomer) and a powder component of hardener containing benzoyl peroxide, fine fillers and some pigment. Unsaturated polyester resin in styrene. (Styrene CAS No.100-42-5) approx 45% wt.
Hardener component: contains silica flour (CAS No; 14808-60-7), benzoyl peroxide
(CAS No.94-36-0), fine graded silica sands and some pigment.
3. HAZARDS IDENTIFICATION
Resin Component: Harmful by inhalation. Irritating to eyes and skin May cause sensitisation by skin contact Flammable. Flash Point 31oC. Hardener Component: Contains benzoyl peroxide. May produce allergic reaction. Irritating to eyes. May cause sensitisation by skin contact. May cause fire.

4. FIRST AID MEASURES
SKIN
Wipe off excess with absorbent disposable paper towels.
Wash with plenty of soap and water. Do not use organic solvents.
Rinse immediately with water for at least 15 minutes. Seek
Move affected person to fresh air. If recovery not rapid seek medical attention.
Immediately rinse mouth repeatedly with water. If swallowing has occurred do not induce vomiting. Seek medical attention immediately.

12. ECOLOGICAL INFORMATION
Prevent contamination of soil, drains or surface water. Styrene is harmful to aquatic organisms. No other specific information available. 13. DISPOSAL CONSIDERATIONS
Incineration in approved installation. Contaminated packaging material should be disposed of identically to the product itself. For easy disposal any unmixed resin and hardener can be mixed and allowed to cure. Once fully cured Certite Hong Kong Concrete can be disposed of as normal household waste.
