The purpose of this proposal is to demonstrate the effectiveness of mechanically stimulated periodontal ligament cells compared to other osteoblastic cell populations in the treatment of critical size bone defects in rabbits. The major goal of this project is to develop and evaluate a robust CAD method for mass detection in digitized mammograms. The method will include image standardization, adaptive, and multi-mode processing, and hybrid classification for improved and robust segmentation, and classification of breast tumors.
