*The endometrium can be prepared with or without a GnRH agonist (Lupron
Depot 3.75 mg). Below you will find the schedule for each one:

Schedule A) “Oral contraceptive pills only”
Oral contraceptive pills: on the first or second day of your next
menstrual period you will have to start with oral contraceptives. At this step we
will plan probable dates for traveling to Argentina. If you cannot travel during
the following cycle or other problems should arise, we will need you to
continue with oral contraceptives for a another cycle (another month).
Schedule B) “Oral contraceptive pills and GnRH agonist”
Leuprolide acetate (Lupron 3.75 depot): on the first or second day
of your next menstrual period you will have to start with oral contraceptives.
On day 19 of the same menstrual cycle you will have to be administered an
intramuscular (IM) injection of Lupron Depot 3.75 mg. It is used for hormonal
ovarian suppression. (When given Lupron, the following menstrual period may
take longer to appear after discontinuing oral contraceptive pills
). This
medication is not used when the patient no longer has menstrual periods.
Schedule A) “Oral contraceptive pills only”
You will need to have a transvaginal ultrasound examination performed on
the 2nd or 3rd day of your following menstrual period. We will also need your
estradiol level in blood (obtained on the very same day of the ultrasound)
- E-mail those results to us.
We will then instruct you to start taking Estrace (estradiol) 2 mg tablets orally
twice daily (4 mg/day) for two days and then three tablets (6 mg/day) daily
until the day we see you in Buenos Aires. This hormonal medication prepares
the inner lining of the uterus for embryo transfer. With this schedule we will
expect to see you in the office 10 days after starting Estrace.
Schedule B) “Oral contraceptive pills and GnRH agonist”
You will need to have a transvaginal ultrasound examination performed on
the 2nd or 3rd day of your following menstrual period. We will also need your
estradiol level in blood (obtained on the very same day of the ultrasound)
- E-mail those results to us.
We will then instruct you to start taking Estrace (estradiol) 2 mg tablets orally
twice daily (4 mg/day) for two days and then three tablets (6 mg/day) daily
until the day we see you in Buenos Aires, unless otherwise indicated. This
hormonal medication prepares the inner lining of the uterus for embryo
transfer. With this schedule we will need you to be on Estrace for a longer
period of time.
Ten days after starting Estrace, you will need to have another transvaginal
ultrasound
examination performed.
- E-mail the results to us.
At this point you should probably be almost ready for embryo transfer and be
traveling to Argentina.
Progesterone (tablets or vaginal suppositories): we will instruct you on
when to start with progesterone supplementation (800 mg/day) as soon as we
see you in the office. This hormonal medication (while still on Estrace at the
dose established by us: 6 or 8 mg/day) thickens the inner lining of the uterus
to facilitate embryo implantation. You will purchase this medication in Buenos
Aires.

Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) injections are indicated for the treatment of difficult, chronic Tendinitis around the hand, wrist, and upper arm, including Tennis Elbow (Lateral Epicondylitis) and Golfer’s Elbow (Medial Epicondylitis).
